Abiding in His Presence: One-Day Sabbath

Need a rest? Time away for prayer and reflection? Consider participating in DBA's Abiding Sabbath day on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Mt. Lebanon. You can organize your day to fit your needs, or you can follow a printed guide that will be available to you. Dr. Milfred Minatrea will be available in the Grande Lodge for spiritual direction and conversation. This event is for leaders in churches that are members of Dallas Baptist Association or partnering organizations.

Cost: FREE unless you select one or more of the following options:

• Box lunch: $9

• Grande Lodge hotel room accommodations, $50 per night (no meals included)

• Purchase an Abiding in His Presence journal, $10

FAQs

1. Can I arrive before 9:00 a.m.? Yes, you can arrive as early as 7:00 a.m. and stay as late as 7:00 p.m. However, the main room of Grande Lodge will only be open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Enjoy the great outdoors!

2. Where do I check in? Please check in at the Grande Lodge upon arrival or at 9:00 a.m. (whichever comes first). For safely purposes, we need to know that you are on the camp property.

3. Can I get a refund? Yes, you can get a refund up to seven days prior to the event.

4. Will I be outdoors all day? The main room of the Grande Lodge is available from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. It will have comfortable seating, tables, art supplies, and a library of books you can borrow for the day. However, we encourage you to explore the camp grounds and enjoy being outdoors! There are gravel and paved roads for hiking, plus multiple picnic and recreation areas. You can design your day any way you like. Dress accordingly.
